Simon Beck`s Incredible Snow Art in the Alps

Snowboarding or skiing, whichever snow sport you partake in, we can guarantee that you will love this incredible snow creativity from Simon Beck.

From Geneva to Morzine:  for the past decade, Simon Beck has been decorating the Alps with his stunning mathematically developed drawings. Incredibly these snow-scapes are created by running in snowshoes across freshly laid snow. Each of his images takes him up to 11 hours  (he states 10 hours is around his limit per day) and covers an area about 100m x 100m, requiring him to travel up to 25 miles altogether as he fights against the snowy conditions.

Beck has recently been practicing his techniques on sandy beaches. This is due to a recent commission for a live performance on a beach in America. He reports that he found sand a much easier medium to work as it can be walked on without marking.
